B.E.S.T. INNOVATION COURSE 2012
STUDENT EDITION
International students, workshops, interactive lectures, and hands-on skills training on in vivo and ex vivo models: those are the keywords describing the B.E.S.T. Innovation Course in minimally invasive surgery for students. After the success of the first course, IRCAD is ready for a new group of students.
This year, we are proud to launch an innovative educational course in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), which for the first time combines surgery, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
Are you a medical, engineering or business student? This course could be the catalyst to broaden your horizons and reach your full potential, combining innovation with business and encouraging you to make the most of your existing skills and knowledge.
Cutting, reshaping, reforming, bypassing, fixing… put your creative thinking into action. Design, build, and demonstrate, with mentors from all over the world to guide you in creating and testing your own project in the field.
Students will have the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to smoothly navigate through minimally invasive surgery, engineering and business. Invent your own surgical robot or write a business plan. Practice laparoscopic skills and familiarise yourself with groundbreaking surgical procedures and instruments.
Be inspired, connect with students from around the world, and break down geographical, disciplinary and conceptual barriers.
Challenge yourself.
