Full immersion in arthroscopic surgery

The Arthroscopic Elbow Course will include both practical lectures and hands-on sessions on anatomical specimens.

World renowned experts in the field of elbow surgery will teach participants to perform basic to highly advanced arthroscopic elbow procedures.

The experts will explain the procedures with stepby-
step technique videos and presentations.
Delegates will be encouraged to ask questions, bring cases and actively interact in group discussions.

Practice makes perfect and participants will have ample opportunity to perform elbow arthroscopy and try out all procedures during the hands-on sessions on anatomical specimens.

Course objectives in Elbow arthroscopic course

  • To cover a broad spectrum of surgical procedures in  arthroscopic surgery
  • To provide indications for surgical treatment and discuss operative complications
  • To highlight technicalities of surgical interventions through the broadcasting of videos
  • To allow discussion between the experts and the surgeon trainees
  • To provide hands-on sessions to improve skills in arthroscopic surgery through practice on live tissue under experts’ tutorials
  • To describe postoperative clinical results and practical applications of evidence-based clinical medicine

Educational sponsorship and funding

IRCAD has received financial support in the form of an unrestricted financial support. IRCAD course funding occurs via an unrestricted support from IRCAD sponsors (medical device companies). Funding is provided free of any attempt to influence the program, individual sessions, subjects for discussion, content and choice of faculty members.
Commercial names of medical devices/software/equipment may appear because they are linked to specific medical procedures, which are the focus of this training course. Other products in the market can be used to perform the aforementioned medical procedures. The IRCAD as an educational provider does not endorse any particular product.
