Surgeons have shown that many congenital conditions can be treated through laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, retroperitoneoscopy, subcutaneous endoscopic approaches, endoluminal-assisted procedures, and robotic surgery. These methods are now widely accepted as safe and effective. In 2027, IRCAD Strasbourg will once again host its neonatal visceral and thoracic surgery course, offering a broad overview of pediatric minimally invasive surgery.
