Les techniques de chirurgie mini-invasive enseign\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019IRCAD depuis 25 ans aux chirurgiens du monde entier \u00e9voluent progressivement vers le d\u00e9veloppement de la chirurgie robotique. Pour faire face \u00e0 cette mutation et perp\u00e9tuer l\u2019excellence de l\u2019institut dans le domaine des nouvelles techniques chirurgicales, l\u2019IRCAD augmente la surface de ses infrastructures en construisant un nouveau b\u00e2timent, l\u2019IRCAD 3, accol\u00e9 aux b\u00e2timents actuels.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019IRCAD 3, qui ouvrira ses portes en mars 2020, <strong>sera d\u00e9di\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement de la recherche et de la formation dans le domaine de la robotique chirurgicale. <\/strong>Il sera constitu\u00e9 d\u2019un niveau en rez-de-chauss\u00e9e et de deux niveaux de sous-sol, accueillant une plateforme de robotique chirurgicale incluant des blocs op\u00e9ratoires exp\u00e9rimentaux et un auditorium de 250 places \u00e9quip\u00e9 des toutes derni\u00e8res technologies audiovisuelles 4K.<\/p>\n<p>Plus de dix compagnies d\u00e9veloppent actuellement leur robot chirurgical, dont le groupe am\u00e9ricain MEDTRONIC, fid\u00e8le partenaire de l\u2019IRCAD depuis ses d\u00e9buts en 1994. Ces nouveaux robots devraient appara\u00eetre sur le march\u00e9 mondial en 2020. <strong>Aujourd\u2019hui, la volont\u00e9 de l\u2019IRCAD est de se positionner comme le centre de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence dans les domaines de la recherche et de la formation en robotique chirurgicale au niveau mondial.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le site de l\u2019IRCAD constitue de fait un p\u00f4le d\u2019attractivit\u00e9 naturel gr\u00e2ce<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00e0 la <strong>pr\u00e9sence d\u2019industriels du secteur du dispositif et de l\u2019\u00e9quipement m\u00e9dical<\/strong> sur le campus de l\u2019IRCAD <em>(Karl Storz, MEDTRONIC, Intuitive Surgical, \u2026)<\/em>,<\/li>\n<li>\u00e0 la forte influence de l\u2019IRCAD sur la sph\u00e8re chirurgicale par le biais du<strong> site internet WeBSurg<\/strong>, qui compte plus de 390.000 membres \u00e0 travers le monde,<\/li>\n<li>\u00e0 <strong>son r\u00e9seau d\u2019experts<\/strong> <em>(800 chirurgiens experts install\u00e9s dans le monde entier)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les extensions internationales de l\u2019IRCAD \u00e0 Ta\u00efwan, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, au Liban, et bient\u00f4t au Rwanda, en Chine et aux Etats-Unis, constituent \u00e9galement un atout majeur pour l\u2019attractivit\u00e9 de l\u2019institut strasbourgeois.<\/p>\n<p>Intuitive Surgical avait choisi d\u2019\u00e9tablir son centre europ\u00e9en de formation en chirurgie robotique \u00e0 l\u2019IRCAD d\u00e8s 2015.
