Le professeur Jacques Marescaux s’est récemment rendu au siège de l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS) à Genève. Il y a participé à une réunion consacrée à un projet ambitieux réunissant l’OMS, la SRS et les neuf centres IRCAD : le « WHO-SRS-IRCAD Telesurgery Hub ».
Cette initiative vise à promouvoir l’équité mondiale en matière de santé concernant l’accès aux soins chirurgicaux, grâce au développement de plateformes de téléchirurgie à travers le monde.
Elle marque également une nouvelle étape dans la continuité de l’Opération Lindbergh, menée par l’IRCAD en 2001 entre New York et Strasbourg, qui constituait la toute première procédure de téléchirurgie transatlantique au monde.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
