Mercredi 12 septembre 2012, se sont tenus parallèlement à Strasbourg et à Paris un séminaire sur l’endométriose organisé à l’IRCAD par le Pr. Arnaud Wattiez, et le 21ème congrès de la Société Européenne d’Endoscopie Gynécologique (European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy).
Durant cette journée, 7 opérations ont été réalisées dans 3 des blocs opératoires des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Strasbourg, par l’équipe du Pr. Wattiez en présence des meilleurs experts internationaux réunis à Strasbourg à cette occasion. Elles ont toutes été transmises en direct depuis l’IRCAD vers le congrès européen à Paris.
Une centaine de chirurgiens de 26 nationalités ont participé au cours de l’IRCAD, tandis que plus de 1200 participants au congrès ont pu visionner les images chirurgicales en Haute Définition diffusées par l’IRCAD.
L’endométriose est une maladie peu connue qui touche 10% des femmes. Peu d’équipes savent en poser le diagnostic et maîtrisent la technique chirurgicale requise pour soulager les patientes.
Une nouvelle fois, l’expertise de l’IRCAD a été reconnue par la communauté chirurgicale dans le domaine de l’enseignement de la chirurgie mini-invasive.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
