IRCAD recently hosted a delegation from Fujifilm, led by Mr. Jun Higuchi (Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Medical System Business Division).
This visit signals a new, expansive phase in the ongoing partnership between the two organizations. Initially focused on the ultrasound division, the collaboration is now broadening to encompass key areas of education, research, and innovation.
During the visit, IRCAD’s research department provided a compelling demonstration of its latest advancements. The R&D team is currently developing a technology for real-time 3D reconstruction of the target organ based on ultrasound imaging. This innovation is designed to address a major technical challenge in intraoperative augmented reality, a field in which IRCAD has long been active.
IRCAD is proud to strengthen its association with a global leader like Fujifilm in the medical field.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
