IRCAD recently hosted Mr. Olivier Klein, Rector of the Académie de Strasbourg and former Minister Delegate for City and Housing.
The visit was an opportunity to showcase the Institute’s infrastructures and its cutting-edge research and training programs. Discussions focused on critical themes: training the surgeons of tomorrow, the role of universities in medical innovation, and strengthening the link between higher education and applied research.
Mr. Klein was particularly impressed by IRCAD’s initiative to regularly welcome local middle and high school students. He strongly praised this effort to inspire future generations and confirmed he will return to support the program.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
