Telesurgery emerged as the central theme of this year’s Society of Robotic Surgery (SRS) Annual Congress in Miami. More than 25 years after Operation Lindbergh marked the world’s first transatlantic telesurgery, its enduring legacy shaped keynotes and panel discussions on leveraging remote care to enhance healthcare equity in emerging nations. This recognition stands as a proud milestone for IRCAD and Prof. Jacques Marescaux.
