L’IRCAD est un partenaire clé et l’hôte du projet collaboratif européen « Forget Diabetes ». Financé par la Commission Européenne (programme Horizon 2020) et piloté par l’Université de Padoue (UNIPD) et la Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA), ce projet vise à révolutionner la régulation de la glycémie.
Cette initiative novatrice développe un dispositif automatique inédit intégrant l’électronique miniaturisée, un logiciel intelligent et la mécatronique. Le système se compose d’une pompe à insuline implantée, d’un capteur de glucose intraveineux en temps réel et d’une capsule guidée magnétiquement pour la recharge orale.
L’IRCAD est essentiel à la réussite du projet. Grâce à l’expertise de ses équipes pluridisciplinaires et à ses laboratoires expérimentaux conformes aux BPL, l’IRCAD fournit l’orientation scientifique, le protocole expérimental et les procédures interventionnelles nécessaires à la validation de cette technologie de pointe.
Ce travail souligne les progrès vitaux réalisés grâce à la recherche collaborative européenne dans le domaine de l’innovation médicale.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
