La téléchirurgie n’est plus un concept réservé à la science-fiction : elle est désormais une réalité concrète et en pleine évolution.
Il y a 24 ans, le Professeur Jacques Marescaux et l’IRCAD entraient dans l’histoire avec l’opération Lindbergh, première chirurgie transatlantique réalisée à distance. Aujourd’hui, une nouvelle étape majeure vient d’être franchie : la toute première téléchirurgie utilisant le robot hinotori™, développé par Medicaroid.
Depuis l’IRCAD France, le Professeur Armando Melani, directeur scientifique de l’IRCAD América Latina, était connecté à distance avec une équipe chirurgicale située à Kobe, au Japon. Cette intervention marque une avancée significative dans l’intégration des technologies robotiques dans le domaine de la chirurgie à distance, et confirme une fois de plus le rôle central de Strasbourg dans l’innovation chirurgicale mondiale.
Cet événement illustre également l’excellence de la coopération internationale, réunissant trois nations autour d’un objectif commun : repousser les limites de la chirurgie moderne. Ce partenariat entre la France, le Japon et le Brésil témoigne d’une vision partagée de l’avenir.
Et ce n’est qu’un début.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
