Following the recent visit of the French and US teams from Precision IO Group to IRCAD, Professor Jacques Marescaux was invited to visit their facilities in Montpellier.
The company develops an advanced robotic platform designed to assist physicians in image-guided percutaneous tumor ablation procedures.
Beyond the technology itself, the visit was particularly impressive for the quality of the R&D team, whose creativity, passion and drive for innovation strongly echoed the spirit of IRCAD’s own R&D teams.
This meeting opens the way to a promising collaboration between our teams, with a first robotic platform expected to arrive at IRCAD in January 2027.
