During a recent visit to the French National Academy of Surgery, the Canadian Minister of Innovation officially announced a new partnership between Reveal Life Sciences and IRCAD.
The cutting-edge work carried out by the Canadian company aligns closely with IRCAD’s ongoing developments in the field of minimally invasive surgery. While minimally invasive techniques allow for the removal of cancerous tumors through less disruptive procedures, they demand absolute precision in ensuring the quality of “surgical margins”, confirming that no cancerous cells remain at the incision site.
To address this challenge, Reveal Life Sciences has developed new technologies based on intraoperative molecular tissue analysis. This innovation represents a major addition to IRCAD’s current research, opening promising new avenues for safer and more precise surgical procedures.
On this occasion, Dr. Antonello Forgione presented IRCAD’s latest advances and research projects, highlighting the institute’s steadfast commitment to surgical innovation and patient care.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
