Le professeur Jacques Marescaux a été invité en Inde pour visiter l’hôpital universitaire Sri Aurobindo et discuter de la possibilité d’établir un institut miroir à Indore. Au cours de ce voyage, il a eu l’occasion d’assister au développement remarquable mené par le Dr. Vinod Bhandari. Parti d’un dispensaire de quelques lits en 1980, il a construit un extraordinaire « empire » hospitalo-universitaire de 3 000 lits. Le Bhandari Group of Hospitals & Institutions couvre diverses spécialités médicales et chirurgicales et se distingue par le nombre important de patients qu’il traite.
Par ailleurs, le Professeur Jacques Marescaux a été très impressionné par les compétences chirurgicales du Dr. Mohit Bhandari, véritable virtuose de la chirurgie bariatrique mini-invasive.
Ces discussions et rencontres captivantes ont ouvert la voie à un partenariat qui devrait se concrétiser dans les mois à venir.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
