IRCAD recently hosted MMI – Medical Microinstruments, currently the world’s sole developer of a robotic platform dedicated to super-microsurgery. This technology represents a significant leap forward, allowing surgeons to operate on ultra-fine anatomical structures with unprecedented precision.
The visit centered on a future strategic collaboration, focusing on the development and clinical evaluation of MMI’s robotic technology, as well as the establishment of specialized training programs. This rapidly evolving field is gaining traction in several medical sectors, including innovative therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease. IRCAD remains committed to fostering innovation and excellence in surgical education through such high-level industrial partnerships.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
