Prof. Jacques Marescaux participated in a day dedicated to artificial intelligence, organized by the Genolier Innovation Hub for the Swiss Medical Network (SMN), bringing together managers, physicians, and nurses from across the group.
Three speakers were invited to share their insights:
– Jacques Boshung, nuclear physicist and engineer, offered an introduction to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence
– Dr. Laurent Alexandre, scientist and entrepreneur, discussed the disruptive impact of AI across all sectors
– Prof. Jacques Marescaux addressed the integration of AI in surgery, particularly its applications in robotics and medical imaging
The event, held in the auditorium of the Genolier Innovation Hub, welcomed over 400 participants and sparked thoughtful discussions on the future of healthcare and innovation.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
