Last November 30, 2009, Professor Jacques Marescaux, Founding Father and President of the IRCAD and Professor Andre Syrota, Chief Director and President of the INSERM, signed an agreement protocol regarding the scientific cooperation between the IRCAD and the INSERM.
IRCAD’s 15th anniversary On November 24, 2009, Europe’s first interventional MRI platform, dedicated to research, teaching and treatment was inaugurated at the IRCAD in the presence of Catherine Bréchignac, President of the CNRS and of the local councillors. This event took part of the IRCAD’s 15th anniversary.
On September 23, 2009, the R&D in computer-assisted surgery team led by Professor Luc Soler was awarded the first prize of the Best Biomedical Visualization Competition for the second consecutive year at the International Conference for the Treatment of Medical Images and Computer-Assisted Interventions (MICCAI) in London, UK.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
