Introducing the inaugural “Master Forum IRCAD China, Medicine and Engineering.” The goal was to showcase the expertise of Chinese companies in the field of minimally invasive surgery, featuring demonstrations by a dozen specialized companies.
IRCAD China recently arranged a visit by Prof. Jacques Marescaux to one of the nation’s leading companies, MicroPort. Besides boasting an impressive product portfolio, MicroPort designs 9 different types of robots for various medical specialties, including vascular, orthopedic, and laparoscopic surgery, among others.
During his trip to Taiwan, Prof. Jacques Marescaux visited the Onyx premises, accompanied by John Chuang, President and CEO of Onyx, and Wayne Huang, Dean of IRCAD Taiwan. Onyx is a global leader in the field of medical computers and displays.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
