IRCAD-IWC
Wrist Arthroscopy Courses

with the support of IWAS and APWA

The basic course is intended for all surgeons interested in hand surgery, and in particular wrist surgery. Attending this course should allow participants to practice wrist arthroscopy skilfully and safely.

The advanced course is intended for participants who have experience in wrist arthroscopy as well as for participants who have already attended the basic course. It will allow attendees to perform more sophisticated techniques with the assistance of international experts.

The master course is intended for experienced surgeons in the field of wrist arthroscopy, experts who attend IRCAD courses regularly and participants who have already attended an advanced course.

Training is both theoretical and practical. The course will be two days long and will include theoretical sessions and surgical techniques performed in the operating room.

During practical sessions, there will be 2 participants per table, supervised by an expert.

Each table is equipped with a high-definition video system connected to a 2.4 mm scope to suit the specialty’s needs and to accommodate the required instrumentation.

Each video system is connected to the table of the course director who performs live demonstrations before participants start the procedures themselves.
