On Thursday April 18, 2013, Professor Jacques Marescaux, President and Founder of the IRCAD, received the Digital Personality of the Year Award. The ceremony took place at the Potocki Hotel of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ile-de-France region), as part of the Digital Technology Award’s 15th edition, organized by Télécom ParisTech.

The General Commissioner for Investment came to Strasbourg to officially kick off Industry Week on March 14. Louis Gallois had the opportunity to visit the IRCAD, founding member of the IHU (Image-guided Hybrid Surgery Institute) and initiator of the IHU Strasbourg project.
On March 12, Professor Jacques Marescaux welcomed Siemens Healthcare’s CEO, Mr. Hermann Requardt, and his collaborators, to give them a tour of the IRCAD and the IHU Strasbourg (image-guided minimally invasive surgery institute).

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
